AAA's 10* VERY EARLY TOTAL "ART OF WAR!" 5-0 (100%) O/U RUN!
(NBA) Chicago vs. Oklahoma City,
Total: 203.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
Total: 203.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOTAL ART OF WAR on the UNDER between the Chicago Bulls and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
For a number of different reasons I believe this total will fall below the posted number once the final horn sounds. Chicago got the better of OKC at home last week but has not won on the Thunder's home floor in five straight tries. The Bulls would overcome 43 points from Russell Westbrook to take last week's game 108-105. I think Chicago will have a much harder time duplicating that offensive outburst today though, note that Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler and Taj Gibson all remain sidelined with injury. And note that since that win over the Thunder, Chicago is 1-4 with three of those losses coming on the road. Clearly the Bulls know that they'll have to play tighter defense today, there is no way the visitors can run with OKC which averages 111.5 points per game while winning 15 of its last 17 in front of the home town crowd. OKC will also be looking to shut down the Bulls after last week's setback as it remains in a battle with New Orleans for the finally playoff spot in the Western Conference. Note that Chicago has seen the total go UNDER the number in eight of 14 this year after a loss by 10 points or more, while Oklahoma City has seen it dip below the posted number in 16 of 25 non-conference games and in ten of 19 after a win by 10 points or more. In my opinion, the situation, the numbers and the trends do all indeed point to the UNDER as the savvy move in this one.
