This is an 8* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER on the OVER between South Carolina and Auburn.
NOTE: Hi guys, AAA Sports here. Today my writeups are going to be brief, I am traveling and have been delayed twice already. My window of opportunity to get my analysis written properly today went from 8 hours, down to 1. Sorry about that. You can expect to see my usual Award Winning write-ups on Sunday and the rest of the week and year as normal. Thanks for understanding today.
Both of these teams have played to some pretty low-scoring affairs of late, but I feel that the conditions are right for a higher-scoring contest today. Auburn looks to rebound from a loss to No. 1 Mississippi State two weeks ago and will be highly motivated here as it will likely need to win out to capture the SEC West title and a shot at making the College Football Playoff. For the Gamecocks, they're looking to break a two game SEC slide and to also post their second win over a top-10 team this season. As good as USC's defense is, I think it will have a very hard time today in stopping Auburn's rushing attack behind QB Nick Marshall, Cameron Artis-Payne and Roc Thomas. Not to be outdone though, South Carolina's RB Mike Davis is one of the SEC's top runners, he's gone for 294 yards and five TDs in his last two contests. Note that Auburn is 12-0 at Jordan-Hare Stadium, winning by an average score of 41-18. However, also take note that South Carolina has not lost three straight SEC games since 2009. Note that the Gamecocks have seen the total go OVER the number in four of five vs. conference opponents this year, while Auburn has seen it sail above the number in three of four home games this season. The situation, the numbers and the trends all point to the OVER as the sharp wager in this contest.
