The Coach's *10* Big Monday Meltdown
(NCAAB) Virginia vs. North Carolina,
Point Spread: 2.00 | -110.00 North Carolina (Home)
Result: Loss
Two ACC titans will clash in Chapel Hill on Monday as ranked teams. The number two ranked Virginia Cavaliers come in off its first loss of the season. The Cavaliers fell 69-63 at home to Duke on Saturday. The Cavs gave up 28 points in the final eight minutes of the game to Blue Devils. The 13th ranked Tar Heels are also coming off a high profile loss. The baby blue fell 78-68 at Louisville. UNC led 43-25 with over 17 minutes remaining but let it slip away. Neither team has a lot of time to think about the losses as this is another big conference game right away. The home team usually has the advantage in situation like this and I think it will be North Carolina that pulls it out with a win in front of friendly fans.

Here are my keys to the game:

Home court advantage- North Carolina is 9-2 at Chapel Hill this season. The losses came earlier this season against Iowa by five points and Notre Dame by one point. This team has gotten stronger and the home court play has been a big reason why.

Tough scheduling spot for Virginia- The Cavaliers are up against it with this two game set against perennial ACC powers in Duke and UNC. A letdown after heavy weight battle against the Blue Devils followed by trip to a tough place to play should be expected. The Tar Heels have played tough against winning teams this season with a 7-4 ATS record.

Revenge Factor-Virginia has won two of the past three matchups after dropping nine of 10 and took a 76-61 victory in the only meeting last season on Jan. 14, 2014. The Tar Heels, though, have claimed 65 of 71 all-time home meetings and eight of the last nine.

X-Factor- UNC guard Marcus Paige is averaging 14.8 points per game this season

Selection: This is a play on North Carolina(10*)
