The Coach's Sunday Night *SPECIAL* ($25!)
(NBA) Minnesota vs. Detroit,
Point Spread: -6.50 | -102.00 Detroit (Home)
Result: Loss
The Detroit Pistons and the Minnesota Timberwolves will do battle for the second time this season. The T'Wolves were able to pull out a 97-91 win over the Pistons in Minnesota back on Oct. 30. The Pistons come into this game 98-88 win over Denver on Friday while Minnesota is coming off an upset 90-89 win at home over Memphis. While the win over the Grizzlies was impressive, don't expect an upset in store for this game as the T'Wolves hit the Detroit for one game road trip. Detroit should win easily and cover the spread along the way.

Here are my keys to the game:

Minnesota road woes- The Timberwolves are just 4-12 on the road this reason. Minnesota is looking to continue their modest surge and avoid a sixth straight road defeat Sunday night. Detroit meanwhile is 2-0 SU and ATS as a home favorite between 6-9.5 points

Pistons revenge- These teams don't play often but Minnesota has won nine straight games in the series. The Pistons will likely be sick of hearing about that from the press the last few days leading up to the game. Though Minnesota has won by double digits in its last four visits to Detroit, the Pistons have won three in a row there and are 8-3 at home since losing 12 straight. Coach Stan Van Gundy's team has held its last two opponents at home to fewer than 92 points after allowing an average of 102.1 there.

X-Factor- D.J. Augustin has been a rock in place of the injured Brandon Jennings. He's keyed the Pistons winning three of four overall by averaging 21.8 points and 10.5 assists.

Selection: This is a play on the Detroit Pistons.(10*)
