The Coach's Wednesday NCAAB Trifecta
(NCAAB) Miami vs. Pittsburgh,
Point Spread: -3.00 | -106.00 Pittsburgh (Home)
Result: Loss
The Pittsburgh Panthers will host Big-East rivals Miami tonight, and they look to bounce back from a tough road loss at Wake Forest. The Hurricanes are coming off a home loss to North Carolina on their Seniors Day, and they haven't looked good losing six of their last 10 overall. Pittsburgh has won six of it's last nine, and looks good as a small favorite in this spot.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - The Hurricanes have pulled off some big upsets in tough road games this year, but they're still just 5-4 away from home, while the Panthers own a stellar 14-2 home record. Pittsburgh has won five straight at home, and two of those wins came against Top 25 teams.

2. Previous History - Miami has not fared well against Pittsburgh in recent seasons, losing five of the last six in this series, and both road games during that span. The Home team has prevailed in each of the last four in this series.

3. X-Factor - Miami has faded in the second half of the season, failing to cover in seven of it's last 10 overall.

Selection: This is a play on the Pittsburgh Panthers (8*)
