NHL Trifecta
(NHL) Winnipeg vs. Vancouver,
Money Line: -142.00 Vancouver (Home)
Result: Win
The Winnipeg Jets cruised past the Oilers last night for a fifth consecutive win, but I think they're in for a tougher battle tonight visiting the Vancouver Canucks. The hosts have also been hot of late, winning four of their last five and have had one more day of rest after winning 3-1 at Arizona Sunday. The Nucks have had the upper hand in this series over recent seasons, winning six of the last seven meetings overall, and that's a trend I think will continue.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Goaltending - Vancouver's Eddie Lack has done surprisingly well filling in for injured Ryan Miller in net. He will come in well rested after sitting out at Arizona Saturday and is 6-2-1 behind a 2.24 GAA so far in March. We can expect to see Michael Hutchinson in the Jets net as Ondrej Pavelec was a fairly busy man last night facing 34 shots at Edmonton. Hutchinson is 2-2-0 with a 3.24 GAA over five outings for the month and allowed three goals on only 19 shots at Florida his last time out.

2. Home Cookin' - The Canucks own a respectable 20-14-1 home record at Rogers Arena for the season, and they have won five straight home games versus the visiting Winnipeg Jets.

3. X-Factor - Daniel Sedin and Radim Vrbata have combined for 11 points over their last four games.

Selection: This is a play on the Vancouver Canucks 8*
