The North Carolina Tar Heels aren't getting a lot of respect here against Wisconsin in the Sweet 16. The Badgers are considered by most to be the team with the best chance to knock off Kentucky, but their recent results are hardly convincing. It took a miracle for them to come back and beat the Spartans in overtime in the Big-10 Championship Game, and then they failed to cover the spread in both of their first two games of the tournament.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Tar Heels have won five of their last six, with the only loss coming to Notre Dame in the ACC Championship game. During that span they beat Louisville and Virginia, and they are 7-2 ATS in their last nine neutral site games.
2. Marcus Paige - North Carolina's leading scorer went off for 22 points in their 87-78 win over Arkansas, and he scored 20 in the second half. "Well, if I could play just as well in the first half as I do in the second half, I would prefer to do that, but sometimes it happens that way," said Paige.
3. X-Factor - The Tar Heels are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games.
Selection: This is a play on the North Carolina Tar Heels (8*)
