The Coach's Wednesday NBA Trifecta
(NBA) Philadelphia vs. Denver,
Point Spread: -11.00 | -108.00 Denver (Home)
Result: Loss
The Sixers are coming off a heart-breaking loss to the Kings in Sacramento last night, blowing a late lead and losing by a score of 107-106. That's sure to take some of the wind out of their sails heading into Denver to take on the Nuggets. Home court advantage isn't what it once was for Denver, but I think the home side will prevail in a laugher tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - The Nuggets have won three straight at home, and all of those games were decided by double-digits. Their most recent home game was a 114-103 victory over the league leading Golden State Warriors.

2. Danillo Gallinari - He scored a career high 40 points on 12-of-21 shooting in his last game, a 119-100 win over the Magic in Orlando Sunday. "It was one of those nights when the basket looks like a swimming pool," said Gallinari.

3. X-Factor - The Nuggets have covered the spread in four of their last five home games, and nine of their last 13 overall.

Selection: This is a play on the Denver Nuggets (8*)
