The Coach's TEN STAR NHL Total MASSACRE!
(NHL) Chicago vs. Philadelphia,
Total: 5.00 | 115.00 Under
Result: Push
The Philadelphia Flyers recent offensive woes are a big reason why they've struggled to pick up points lately, winning only one of their last nine games. They'll be looking to get some offense going tonight after a disappointing four game road swing as they're back in Philly hosting the Chicago Blackhawks. The visitors may be one of the best defensive teams in the league, but with both teams more than capable of lighting the lamp I like our chances of seeing this one fly over the low total.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. The Flyers Defending Of Late - Philadelphia has allowed 13 goals over its last three games, and even the Edmonton Oilers managed to score five times in a 5-4 OT loss Monday. Ray Emery was tending the net for that game, and although we can expect to see Steve Mason back between the pipes here it might not be that big of an improvement. Mason is a lowly 2-4-3 behind a 2.41 GAA so far in March and was chased off the ice after allowing two goals while making only 14 saves in a 4-1 loss at Calgary his last time out.

2. Home Cookin' - The Flyers 2.55 goals per game average is not particularly spectacular, but they've been far more prolific on home ice where they're scoring 2.89 goals per game. They ran rampage against the Red Wings in their last home game, scoring seven goals in a win over Detroit.

3. X-Factor - All but one of the last five meetings at Wells Fargo Center have gone over the total.

Selection: This is a play on the CHI@PHI to go over the total (10*)
