The Coach's NHL ICE BREAKER
(NHL) Nashville vs. Tampa Bay,

Result: Loss
Both the hosting Tampa Bay Lightning and the visiting Nashville Predators are battling for this season's President's Trophy. Nashville is off two consecutive wins, but has struggled of late winning only four of its last 10 games. Tampa Bay meanwhile has looked unstoppable winning four straight and eight of its last 10, and I expect them to bag two points fairly comfortably.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Goaltending - Pekka Rinne has carried this Nashville team over the season, but as his performances has dropped of late so has the team's. Rinne has won only three of his last 13 starts while posting a 2.72 GAA. He is likely to be matched up against a red hot Ben Bishop who is 5-0-1 with a 1.64 GAA over his last six outings.
2. Home Cookin' - The Lightning have the very best home record in the Eastern Conference going 30-7-1 home in Tampa on the season. They've sent the Preds away as losers in five of the last six meetings at Amalie Arena and Nashville is a lowly 1-6 in its last seven when visiting a team with a home winning % of greater than .600.
3. X-Factor - The Predators defeated the Canadiens 3-2 in OT Tuesday but might struggle tonight as they've lost six of their last eight playing on one day of rest.
Selection: This is a play on the Tampa Bay Lightning (8*)
