"The Coach's" NHL Total MASSACRE - +$25K NHL L3 Seasons
(NHL) Toronto vs. Buffalo,
Total: 5.50 | 100.00 Over
Result: Loss
Two of the lowest scoring teams in the NHL will face-off in a completely meaningless game at First Niagara Center tonight. Neither team is likely to be particularly interested in picking up the points, and I think we can expect a stale low-scoring contest.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Woes - The Sabres are averaging a lowly 1.84 goals per game in their own building on the season and the motivation to entertain the home crowd with a sparkling performance must be close to zero as they were cheered for losing to the Coyotes their last outing on home ice. The fans are obviously already looking forward to next season and prioritize higher chances of the first draft pick rather than short-term success, and one must wonder if it wont affect the players to do the same.

2. Road Woes - Toronto has lost five straight games on the road over which they've mustered only 10 goals. That's still better than its season average away from home which is a tiny 1.92 goals per game.

3. X-Factor - Six of the Maple Leafs last eight have failed to climb over the total and the same is true for nine of the Sabres last 12 at home.

Selection: This is a play on TOR@BUF to go under the total (8*)
