The *10* "Coach's Clinic!" - Signature Pick
(NHL) Minnesota vs. Chicago,
Money Line: -147.00 Chicago (Home)
Result: Loss
The Minnesota Wild are coming into this contest on the back of three consecutive losses, the most recent a 2-0 shutout defeat against the Jets as early as last night. Tonight's battle at United Center against the Chicago Blackhawks won't be any easier, especially considering the hosts will be eager to get back to their winning ways after they had a four game winning streak snapped in a 2-1 loss against the Blues Sunday. Chicago is looking good to bounce back here, and I like the price we get on the home team.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Minnesota's Goalscoring Woes - A key component to win a game of hockey is to score more goals than your opponent, but goals have been far and few between for the Wild of late. They've found the net only four times over their 0-2-1 stretch and will be up against the Blackhawks top rated D that has given up only 2.22 goals per game at United Center on the season. Corey Crawford is likely to go in goal for the hosts and he's a dominant 3-1-0 behind a 1.96 GAA and .947 save percentage over his last four starts against the Wild.

2. Devan Dubnyk at Chicago - The only reason the Minnesota Wild are even in the playoff race to begin with has been outstanding performances from their goaltender Devan Dubnyk. He's not had much success in Chicago though where he's 1-3-0 with a 4.48 GAA in five starts with his previous clubs.

3. X-Factor - The Blackhawks have won 14 of the last 17 meetings in Chicago.

Selection: This is a play on the Chicago Blackhawks .(10*)
