"The Coach's" NHL Total DOMINATION
(NHL) NY Rangers vs. Pittsburgh,
Total: 5.00 | 120.00 Under
Result: Loss
The New York Rangers and the Pittsburgh Penguins are tied at 1-1 in this best of 7 Eastern Conference quarterfinals series. Pittsburgh managed to edge a 4-3 win Saturday, and I think we're in for another game that will climb over the total tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Special Teams - We've seen a total of four goals on 17 chances with the man-advantage for the two teams combined over the first two games. With the series so close there's little to suggest the teams will calm down, and I think we'll see plenty of chances on the power play for both teams tonight as well.

2. Sidney Crosby's Post-season Drought Is Over - The Penguins All-Star tallied two goals in Saturday's win after notching only one in his last 19 playoff games prior. With that mental blockage out of the way we can expect Crosby to become a real factor in this series, particularly on home-ice where he recorded 41 points over 37 games during the regular season.

3. X-Factor - Only two of the Rangers last seven on the road have failed to fly over the total, and that despite most of those games having a 5.5 goals line for the total.

Selection: This is a play on NYR@PIT to go over the total(10*)
