"The Coach's" MLB DOMINATION
(MLB) Detroit vs. Minnesota,
Money Line: -155.00 Detroit (Away)
Result: Win
The Minnesota Twins return home on a positive note after winning back-to-back games in Seattle. They face a daunting task in Game 1 of this series versus Detroit though, as the Tigers are sending David Price to the mound.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - Price was roughed up in a home loss to the White Sox in his last start, but the weather was likely a factor. He had trouble gripping the ball in freezing cold temperatures, with snow falling at Comerica Park during the game. The weatherman isn't calling for any snow in Minnesota tonight, and Price is 4-1 with a 2.41 ERA in six starts versus the Twins over the last three years. The Twins counter with Tommy Milone, who has struggled against the Tigers in his career.

2. Batter vs. Pitcher - Joe Mauer hasn't had much success in previous meetings with Price, he's hitting .185 with seven strikeouts in 27 career at bats.

3. X-Factor - The Twins rank dead last in the American League with just 60 runs scored so far this season.

Selection: This is a play on the Detroit Tigers(8*)
