OVER 5.5 in Buffalo (10*)
(NHL) Toronto vs. Buffalo,
Total: 5.50 | -125.00 Under
Result: Loss
Two bottom-feeders will clash at First Niagara Center Wednesday night when the Toronto Maple Leafs will visit the Buffalo Sabres. Both teams have just one win to their name so far for the season, and I think we'll see a high-scoring contest between two desperate teams.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Situational - The Sabres are off back-to-back one goal road losses at Florida and Tampa Bay but defeated Columbus 4-2 their last game in front of the home-town crowd. The over is 5-2-1 in the Sabres last eight home games and 5-1-1 in the last seven meetings at Buffalo.

2. Special Teams - Buffalo has the 7th best power play in the NHL with a conversion rate of 23.8% this season. The were blanked over three opportunities at Tampa Bay their last game but had scored on four of 13 chances in their last two games prior. The Maple Leafs have allowed a goal on a quarter of their penalties so far this season while Buffalo has allowed five power-play goals in 12 short-handed situations over the last three games.

3. X-Factor - Six of the last eight meetings overall have gone over the total.

Selection: This is a play on TOR@BUF to go over the total (10*)
