Arizona Coyotes +1.5 (7*)
(NHL) Arizona vs. NY Rangers,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -145.00 Arizona (Away)
Result: Loss
The Arizona Coyotes opened the season with three consecutive wins but have picked up just one point over their last three. They've kept each game close though and I like them to cover the puckline when visiting the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden Thursday evening.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Special Teams - Arizona's undoing in recent games have been a sub-par penalty kill unit that has allowed three goals on 14 chances. The Rangers are hardly much of a threath on the power play though with just two goals for the season and a 11.8% conversion rate. The Coyotes lead the league in power play chances with 4.8 per game and they have a goal on the man advantage in each of their last two games.

2. The Hosts Offensive Slump - The Rangers had scored just two goals over three losses defeating the Sharks 4-0 Monday. I wouldn't be that quick to say that they've turned a corner though and Arizona has displayed a rather stingy defense this season.

3. X-Factor - The Coyotes are 5-1 against the puckline this season.

Selection: This is a play on the Arizona Coyotes +1.5 (7*)
