The Toronto Blue Jays opened the ALCS with a pair of losses here at Kauffman Stadium but have battled themselves back into the series by taking two of three at Toronto. They now have survive two games at Kansas City, and I think the price is right to back Toronto in Game 6.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Royals hand the ball to Yordano Ventura (0-1, 6.57) who has conceded three runs in each of his three playoffs starts this season. He hurled 5 1/3 innings of the 6-3 win in Game 2 of this series but put a lot of batters on base by allowing eight hits and a pair of walks. The Jays counter with David Price who conceded five runs on six hits over 6 2/3 innings in that same match-up. He was still the more dominant of the two pitchers in my opinion though as it was only an unfortunate seventh inning that made him suffer after tossing six scoreless innings. He recorded a total of eight strikeouts with no free passes in the contest which can be compared to Ventura's six retired batters with a pair of walks.

2. Situational - The Blue Jays battled themselves back from a two-game deficit against the Rangers in the ALDS and having done such a feature already must give them a boost as well as giving the Royals a bit of a scare. The teams are off an off day now which should favor the Jays who are 19-7 in their last 26 games following an off day while the Royals are 2-6 in their last eight following a days of rest.

3. X-Factor - The Royals have lost six of their last eight with Jeff Nelson behind home plate.
