Detroit Lions +3 (10*)
(NFL) Minnesota vs. Detroit,
Point Spread: 3.00 | -130.00 Detroit (Home)
Result: Loss
The Minnesota Vikings are coming off a home win over the wounded Kansas City Chiefs, and they head out on the road to take on the Detroit Lions this week. The Lions are coming off an overtime win over Chicago at home, giving them their first "W" of the season. I think this Detroit team is better than it's record would suggest, and I'll take the Lions at home against the Vikes.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Adrian Peterson - He was less than 100% last week with a sore finger, running for just 60 yards on 26 carries at home against the Chiefs. He's now battling an illness that threatens to keep him out of this Sunday's game all together.

2. Matthew Stafford - The Lions quarterback is coming off his best game of the season, throwing for 405 yards and four TDs against the Bears. He wasn't that bad in a loss at Minnesota earlier this season, throwing for 286 yards with a pair of TDs and an INT on 32-of-53 passing.

3. X-Factor - Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was picked off twice against Kansas City last week, and he's thrown more picks (4) than TDs (3).

Selection: This is a play on the Detroit Lions (10*)
