The Calgary Flames are heating up, having won three of their last four and coming off a meriting 5-2 win against the Penguins Saturday. They'll visit a Florida Panthers team that has lost five straight tonight, and what often happens when teams go on extended losing-streaks is that they revert to back-to-basics hockey, with a high priority on getting the defense straight. That's exactly what I expect from Florida here and I think goals will come at a premium for both teams.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. The Toothless Panthers - Florida has mustered only seven goals over its last five games, not scoring more than two in any of the games in that span. Jaromir Jagr leads the team with six goals and 10 points, but he has none in four games.

2. Trends - Four of Florida's last five at home have gone under the total and only four of its 14 games overall this season have gone over. The under is 6-3 in Calgary's last nine away from home.

3. X-Factor - The Panthers' Roberto Luongo has a 1.85 GAA in his last 18 starts against the Flames
