(MLB) Colorado vs. Minnesota,
Total: 8.50 | -110.00 Under
Result: Push
The set-up: The Rockies won 7-3 last night in Minnesota, despite the Twins homering for a 16th straight game. However, Colorado hit two HRs and has now won three straight away from Coors Field to improve to a franchise-best 12-5 on the road. In contrast, Minnesota is mired in a three-game home losing skid and fell to 8-11 at Target Field on the season. The Twins will host the Rockies in the second game of this three-game IL set looking set a franchise record of 17 consecutive contests with a HR. Tuesday's game tied the streak of 16 straight contests with a HR set by the 1979 club

The pitching matchup: German Marquez (1-2 & 4.88 ERA) gets the ball for Colorado and Ervin Santana (6-1 & 1.50 ERA) for Minnesota. Marquez has two scoreless outings in his last three trips to the mound, after he didn't allow a run (OR a hit) last Wednesday through six innings, before allowing just three hits over eight scoreless innings of a 3-0 win versus the Chicago Cubs. He retired 16 straight batters at one point and struck out eight for the second time in three contests. The rookie (he pitched only 20 2/3 innings last year) will face the Twins for the first time. Santana also has two scoreless outings in his last three starts and did himself one better than Marquez on Friday by allowing just two hits over seven innings in a 1-0 victory at Cleveland. Santan has allowed just nine runs in 2017 but has given up six HRs and has 21 in walks 54 innings this season. He's made four starts vs. Colorado in his career, going 2-1 with a 6.31 ERA (teams are 2-2).

The pick: Santana has allowed one run or less in seven of his eight outings this season, posting a 1.50 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and opponents are batting just .129 against him. Marquez, as noted above, has posted two scoreless starts in his last three. But these are two strong offensive clubs. The play is a 10* on the Over
