The set-up: No need to overthink this one either. This one also sets up fantastically from a "situational" stand-point. The Capitals are in action on Wednesday night at home against the Las Vegas Golden Knights and I think they come in "gassed" here. New Jersey has only played one game so far and it destroyed Edmonton 5-2. With three whole nights off to prepare, the "outright" win isn't out of the question here either obviously.

The pick: Take it for what you will as well, but New Jersey is 7-2 in its last nine home games as an underdog in the +105 to +200 range. Play on the Devils on the "money line."
