The set-up: An over night pitching change has me eying the total. A couple of veteran hurlers square off on the mound Tuesday night and in my opinion, runs are going to be at a premium. The visitors go with Jake Arrieta, while the home side counters with Patrick Corbin.

The pitchers: Arrieta (6-5, 4.31 ERA) has had plenty of issues with the Nationals throughout his career, but I think the veteran benefits here after the postponed rain delay and the extra days rest (was scheduled to start last night.)

Corbin (5-5, 4.11) is 3-2 vs. Philadelphia over six starts, posting a 3.58 ERA.

The pick: Take it for what you will as well, but Philly has seen the total go under the number in six of its last seven following a loss by 12 runs or more, while Washington has seen the total dip below the posted number in seven of its last ten after scoring nine or more runs in its previous contest. Look for these two hungry vets to battle deep and for this one to tall under this sky-high number.
