The Guardians' offense is deep in the doldrums with a line of .210/.585 OPS over the last two weeks, managing just 9 runs in the last 5 games. The good news is the pitching staff, including the bullpen have been very good, limiting the Jays to 7 runs in that 4 game series. Tampa had one recent productive game on offense but has otherwise averaged just 3 runs in 4 of 5 games. Civale starts for the Rays. He had a rare sub-par start last time out, but is a fine candidate to bounce back after a 1.45 ERA in July. He will be extra motivated against the team that just traded him.
