The set-up: So far every single Jazz came has fallen "under" the number this year. The Clippers have seen the total go under in three straight. These teams have played each other already this year and that total went "under" the number. The Jazz enter off a poor loss to the Kings and they'll be extra motivated here to get back on track after that pathetic performance. The Clippers average 114 PPG and they'll be looking to get the visitors out of their "comfort zone" by pushing the pace. From an overall situational stand point, I think this one finally sets up as more of a "shootout" than a defensive affair.

The pick: Note as well that Utah has seen the total soar over the number in nine of its last 13 off an upset loss as a road favorite, while LA has seen the total soar over in 13 of its last 21 in trying to revenge a road loss vs. an opponent of ten points or more. With the Clippers indeed playing with revenge here as well, there's no question in my mind that this one has "high-scoring shootout" written all over it. Play the over.
