The set-up: Chicago comes to the Shark Tank ranked as the worst offense in the Western Conference. The Blackhawks beat the Ducks 3-2 in Anaheim, but I think they'll struggle in this difficult road venue.

The pick: San Jose is 4-10-1 and it won't be taking anything for granted here after its terrible start to the campaign. San Jose though is No. 1 on the penalty kill still, while ranked seventh on the power play. Additionally note that the Sharks are 7-3 in their last ten at home vs. a team with a road winning percentage of less than .400, while the Hawks are still just 1-6 in their last seven as a road dog. I like the desperate home side to dominate from start to finish.
