The set-up: I had a play on the "over" in Game 1, my MLB TOTAL OF THE MONTH. Congrats to the many that got down! The Yanks pulled away off a Stanton home run in the top of the 9th, but I think that Tampa will respond in Game 2. And for me, it's simple, as it comes down to the starting pitchers. Deivi Garcia (3-2, 4.98 ERA) is in unchartered territory here and while he's shown flashes of brilliance at times, I think the sample size is to small to draw any firm conclusions.

The pick: Tyler Glasnow (5-1, 4.08) has struggled in the playoffs in the past, but he enters confident after going 1-1 with a 3.77 ERA with 22 K's in three starts vs. New York this year. Overall Glasnow is 1-2 with a 3.70 ERA in five career starts vs. New York. I think it's interesting to note as well that the Rays are 7-0 in Glasnow's last seven vs. AL East clubs. I'm banking on this red hot Tampa team calmly responding. Consider the Rays in Game 2.
