The set-up: Both teams have been poor. The Chargers come in off their bye-week and I expect them to be a step behind the Jaguars today. Gardner Minshew and company have nothing to lose here and this one has all the makings of a much more competitive affair than what this spread would suggest.
The pick: I give the nod to Minshew over the Chargers' Justin Herbert as well. Note as well that the LA is just 2-7 ATS in its last nine following its bye week and after three or more SU losses. Expect the Jaguars to do more than enough to comfortably sneak in through the back door with the large spread they've been afforded here.
