The set-up: Hawaii averaged 26 PPG this year, while allowing 29.3. QB Chevan Cordeiro had 11 TD's and six INT's. The Cougars average 261.7 passing yards per game behind the fantastic play of QB Clayton Tune, who had 17 TD passes so far on the season.

The pick: Houston was poor defensively though as well, allowing 417.3 yards per game, while conceding 19 touchdowns to opponents in 29 red zone trips. Hawaii has seen much tougher defenses than this and Cordeiro will have some opportunities. I'll stop short in calling for an outright upset, but I do believe this Bowl game will be a lot closer than what this spread would suggest.
