White Sox starter Dallas Kuechel had a short but reasonable appearance after a brutal outing vs Cleveland. With a bloated ERA and almost as may walks as strikeouts, it has not been an auspicious beginning for the veteran. He is up against the Angels journeyman starter Michael Lorenzen (2.93 ERA) who has started well. He has won 2 of 3 starts, giving up just a single run in those 2 wins.

The Angels lost and were shut out by the Sox on Saturday but that certainly hasn’t been the norm. A White Sox win has been something to celebrate in Chicago after a long and ugly stretch. Offense has been the issue, and offense is what the Angel have in spades. Look for the Angels to take it to the Sox. LA to win.
