The Royals are poor on the road and have won just 3 of 7 L10. Hernandez (6.00 ERA) starts for the Royals. He has struggled with short poor starts so far, and has more walks than strikeouts. He will get little support from the bullpen, at 4.85 ERA, one of the worst in the league.

Lyle (4.50 ERA) starts for the Orioles. He has been either very good or quite poor, with nothing in between. He struggled against the Yankees and Rays, but may have better success against KC. Opposing hitters hit over .300 against him in the month of April. Both these starters struggle early.

The Orioles have an advantage on both offense and bullpen. Baltimore may not be burning up the league on offense, but the Royals are bottom feeders in avg. and power. Take the Orioles to continue this positive stretch and win on Friday
