The Braves, already 5-1, have started with a bang. All five wins were on the road. The Padres have been just average at 3-3. Padres' starter Snell was pretty average in spring training, and while he struck out nine batters, he allowed three runs on six hits in just four+ innings in his first appearance. Young Braves' starter, Strider, wowed 'em in the spring and in his first start. He also struck out nine, but allowed zero runs on three hits over six innings. Atlanta's bullpen has also come out of the gate very quickly.

Both these teams have top-ranked offenses, but again, it is the Braves who have started the stronger. Thursday's game will be the Braves' home opener, and I really like Atlanta's chances. Take the Braves to win outright.
