The Mariners lost in the 11th on Saturday, but I like their chances to bounce back on Sunday. Their possible "boy wonder" starts again. It has been an up and down season for Bryce Miller, starting at a record breaking pace only to tank utterly for two games, then bouncing back last time out with a 6 inning 1 run 1 hit appearance. I am banking on continued success on Sunday. He is 3-1, 3.57 ERA at home this year.

He'll face veteran White Sox right-hander Lance Lynn. Lynn straightened out for 3 games in May but mostly his season has been a major disappointment. He has given up the pitcher's futility measurement of a run an inning in June. Lynn has been VERY poor on the road and in day games this year.

The Mariners are just .500 for the year, but they are 17-5 against poorer teams. The M's have a better offense at the moment, and now that their pen is healthy, stronger relief pitching as well. The White Sox are just 13-24 on the road this year. Take the Mariners to win at home on Sunday!
