Money Line: -104.00 Atlanta (Away)
Result: Win
Two hot teams in the same division; something’s got to give. It did Wednesday night as the Braves beat the Phillies. It’s going to happen again. Braves’ probable starter, Elder had some rocky starts in June but he righted the ship last start with six innings and only one hit. Last few starts have not been so great for the Phillies’ Nola and as recently as May 25th, he was pounded by these same Braves for 3 HRs and 5 earned runs in 6 innings. The Braves have made a habit of hitting Nola hard with 18 HRs and 39 RBIs counted against him by the current Braves’ lineup.

The Braves’ bullpen has been better in the last 10 with a 2.92 ERA while the Phillies’ bullpen has an ERA of 5.86 in their last 10.

And the Braves’ bats have been very hot lately with the best avg. and OPS in the majors in the last 15 days. It will all add up to some misery for the Phillies. Take the Braves on this one.
