This is my Canada Day gift. The Bombers were humbled by the Lions last week. Their veteran O-line was overrun and QB Collaros took a beating. They are ready to make amends. The Alouette defence has looked effective against 2 of the 3 weakest teams in this early CFL season but this is a different kind of test. And the Als’ “D” is banged up. MLB Williams and DB Evans are both out and they are important fixtures. The Bombers run game is the 2nd best in the CFL so far (even after a tough week against the Lions) and they have an extensive arsenal of receivers and running backs to exploit the weaknesses that will be revealed in the Al’s revamped “D”.

The Bombers have averaged 31 points a game so far and they have allowed 29.3 points a game. The Als have averaged 28.5 points a game. That clearly looks like a more than 50 point total for this one. Take the over and celebrate Canada Day in style.
