The Orioles' Gibson can be a bit of a loose cannon at times so I keep waiting for him to let fly, but it isn't happening this year. His last three starts have all been fine, allowing 3 or less runs while pitching 6 innings in each appearance. He will face a demoralized and gutted Mets team who were just swept by the Royals, and battered by a surging Orioles team on Friday. The Mets are just 1-7 as a road underdog, 0-4 in August and have an ugly 3.9/6.3 runs for and against in the last 7 games. Reverse those numbers and that will just about give you the Orioles impressive runs for and against. Mets pitcher Megill hasn't started since June and has struggled more often than not this year. The Orioles really know how to win in bunches and are 40-27 after a win. Look for Baltimore to continue the onslaught against NY, and win on the run line.
