The Padres hammered the Nationals here 24-8 yesterday and while I'm certainly not expecting to see another 32 runs scored tonight, I do believe everything definitely points to another slug-fest. Blake Snell is 3-3 with a 4.99 ERA for the Friars, but he's 0-3 with a 9.22 ERA on the road. Patrick Corbin is 6-7 with a 5.40 ERA for the Nationals. He's been consistently inconsistent all year and I expect him to have his hands full now with this explosive Padres line-up. The Nationals are out to break a five-game slide, so there's no doubting their lack of resolve here either. It all adds up to a big time over in my opinion!
