1) Anderson and Miller both have good numbers on the season so this is keeping the total low. I am taking advantage of the low number with a play on the over as key factors over-ride the long-term numbers of these two pitchers.
2) Miller is off a good start at San Diego but he only struck out 1 in this outing and this was after allowing 25 hits in 20 innings over 4 starts.
3) Anderson has one quality start in his last 4 outings but allowed 13 earned runs in 15 and 2/3 innings in the other 3 starts! The Mariners got their bats back on track with a key 6-4 win over Houston yesterday and will carry that momentum into today's game. The Angels have won 5 of 8 games and scored 26 runs in the 5 wins. Their series with Oakland this past weekend had all 3 games get to 10 or more runs. I like that to continue here as the Angels bullpen is also a weakness.
