As both teams are beginning to see the arms of the opposition deeper in this series, I expect the late-inning advantages to increase later for the offenses. The starting pitching matchup on Thursday is also shaky.

Cleveland is listed to start Gavin Williams, who went 3-10 with a 4.86 ERA this year and has no postseason experience. Yankee starter Luis Gil will be making his postseason debut as well. Gil last took the mound on Sept. 28 against the Pirates when he struggled in his second consecutive start. Gil faced the Guardians once this season and allowed three runs, three hits, and six walks in just three innings of work.
