There's a lot of time left but at 6-14 the Astros, have not been the Astros just yet. Justin Verlander will be making his first start at the MLB level this season. The two rehab starts for JV were not good, as he gave up six runs in four innings in AA, and seven runs in three innings at AAA.
Washington starter MacKenzie Gore has gotten off to a strong start this season, and threw 5.2 shut out innings against Houston last season.
Washington is worth a shot here.
