Young Southern Utah has covered 7-of-8 as they have gone from the worst rotation team to very competitive. ith just 10 combined seasons of collegiate experience heading into the 2013-14 campaign. SUU has five true freshmen (not including walk-ons) on the roster and three of the five have played in every game.

In the first five Big Sky games, they were outscored by an average of 23.4 points per game. In the last seven games, beginning with the game in Ogden on Jan. 18, they have been outscored by just 6.4 points per game.

Look for them to get better. This is the first of four road games in 10 days for Weber, so it is a very tough spot. Weber has a very deceptive record. After playing eight of the first 12 Big Sky games at home, the Wildcats now will finish the year with six of the final eight conference games on the road.

They will face a four-game road trip beginning Thursday at Southern Utah. Road games have been hard to come by in the Big Sky season. Home teams are currently 50-16 in conference games. That .758 winning percentage by home teams is the highest of any conference in the country.
