Several at the Crown are watching GW warily. As 6-11 Rafael Castro will apparently be available, the Revolutionaries have perhaps the most-unique weapon in this event. Castro's 14.1 ppg, 9.1 rpg and 66.1% FG shooting confirm that he is a force around the basket, more so than perhaps anyone Boise has seen in the Mountain west aside from perhaps New Mexico's nelly Junior Joseph. Chris Caputo's GW lineup is balanced and the Revolutionaries ranked among the nation's defensive leaders for most of the season. While the Broncos were right on the Big Dance cut-line and probably should have received a bid instead of San Diego State, and sr. F Tyson Degenhart looks to end a decorated career on a high note, Boise did not extend a lot of margins on the road, with sometimes-spotty three-point shooting. Leon Rice's team can advance, but maybe not easily. Play George Washington (Crown at MGM Grand Garden, Las Vegas)
