It hasn't been the best week for the Hawks, with three losses on the spin, but they're catching the perfect foe to get well against on Sunday. The Jazz seem to be in full "t-word" mode, shutting down Lauri Markkanen and John Collins and Walker Kessler a healthy scratch most recent nights, with Jordan Clarkson also out. The losing streak is eight and the last two losses have been by 38 (vs. Houston) and 28 (vs. Indiana). Atlanta's motivation at the moment is to at least stay in its current play-in position (8th) and if possible overtake the Magic for home edge in the 7-8 game, and of course avoiding a worst-case scenario of dropping to ninth or tenth. Trae Young is still firing away, leading the Hawks in scoring in eight of their past ten games, and it's a lesser Utah in early April than on January 7 when Atlanta had to battle hard for a 124-121 win at Salt Lake City.
