The Reds might earn the MLB bipolar award for the past six days, sandwiching 14 and 11-run outbursts around a four-game stretch in which they scored all of two runs. The 11, however, came yesterday, as the bats awakened in a big way at Milwaukee to fuel a slump-breaking win. As Cincy has tended to score runs in bunches, and pitching hasn't been bad, they seem a worthwhile risk on Sunday, especially as Carson Spiers gets another crack on the mound after tossing six near-flowless innings vs. the Rangers last Tuesday, allowing just three hits and one run, though he took the loss as that was one of the games Cincy didn't score the past week.
