Mariners over Astros- Now, doesn't it seem odd to you (it does to me) that a first place team with the most wins in the American League would be such a heavy underdog at home? If Seattle's 'King Felix' Hernandez (9-2, 2.51 ERA) can win a Cy Young with 12 wins what is going to happen this year as he seeks to be the Majors first 10-game winner while limiting opposing batters to a .196 average. The Mariners were expected to contend for the AL title this season but have limped out of the gate and have dropped seven of their last 10. Houston has lost seven straight and will start Brett Oberholtzer (0-1, 3.75) who has had blister issues but is 2-0 with a 1.20 ERA lifetime against Seattle. That will be countered by Hernandez who is 3-2 with a 1.84 ERA in seven career starts against Houston. Take SEATTLE!
