Marlins over Pirates- The Marlins won a classic pitching dual yesterday as All-stars Jose Fernandez of Miami and Pittsburgh's Gerrit Cole hooked-up in a pair of gems that the Marlins won 3-1 after entering the 7th inning at 1-0. The Pirates have had the best of this series of late winning 19 of the last 26 meetings and are 11-5 in their last 16 overall. Miami is starting to play better at home where they are just 11-14 and have another against the Pirates tomorrow. Pittsburgh will start Jonathon Niese (502, 4,42 ERA) who has had great offensive support has allowed more then a hit an inning and is 6-5 with a 4.18 ERA lifetime against Miami. Take the MARLINS!
