Cubs over Pirates- If there is any team out there that is looking forward to the All-Star break it would have to be the Chicago Cubs who has lost nine of 10 games and 15 of the last 20. The Cubs looked like they were going to run and hide from the rest of the National League with a 47-20 start, their pitching has let them down of late surrendering 7.4 runs per contest in the last 10 games. Veteran John Lackey (7-5, 3.50 ERA) has seen his ERA rise from 2.66 over his last four starts and is 1-2 lifetime against Pittsburgh but had a 2.25 ERA in three starts against the Pirates last season.
