Meanwhile, the American League leading Texas Rangers managed to end a four-game skid with a win over the Cubs on Sunday. They will be starting A.J. Griffin (3-1. 3.81 ERA) who has struggled since coming off the disabled list on June 25 but is 3-2 with a 3,08 ERA lifetime in six career starts against the Angels. Nick Tropeano (3-2, 3.12) who's last win was against Texas in May has had little team support but averages better then one strikeout per inning. L.A. Is playing better and gets the nod here.
