Orioles over Royals- Baseball is a long season where clubs have many good and bad steaks and just when it seems they have put it together or are about to collapse altogether things change. Kansas City is a prime example as they have now dropped their last two after winning 10 of 11 to take charge in the AL Wild Card hunt. Baltimore has struggled all season and now has won their last four to pull to with 3.5 games of the Royals. Jason Vargas (13-4, 3.00 ERA) who is 6-2 on the road is just 2-3 in eight career starts against the Orioles while Jeremy Hellickson (6-5, 4.73) gets the start for Baltimore and he is 2-2 lifetime against the Royals.
