Angels over Nationals- It is hard for me to fathom that the Angels are currently 'in' the playoffs as they have won six straight and have moved 3-games over .500 (61-58). Washington of course is running away with the NL East with a 13.5 game lead over second place Miami. It is surprising to me to see the 'price' as low as it is with Gio Gonzalez (10-5, 2.59 ERA) on the hill as he has been dominate in his last two outings allowing only one run and just eight hits in 15 innings. He is also 7-3 with a 2.92 ERA lifetime against the Angels but was pounded for four runs in 5.2/3 innings on July 19 this season. Los Angels will start Tyler Skaggs (1-2, 3.63) and is 1-0 in his ony appearance against the Nats. Take the ANGELS!
