Padres over Giants- San Francisco is coming off the worst season since moving to the West coast and made a pair of huge acquisitions in the off-season with Andrew McCutchen and Evan Longoria. They haven't really had any impact as the Giants have scored two or fewer runs in seven of their first 12 games as McCutchen and Longoria are both batting under .205. Add that for the second straight year they are without the services of Madison Bumgarner who will be sidelined for at least another month. The Padres will send Clayton Richard (1-1, 5.29 EAR) to the 'bump' and he is 6-7 lifetime against the Giants and gets the win here. Take SAN DIEGO!
